RECEPTION VOLUNTEERS
Substitute Reception Positions Now Open
Reception Volunteers welcome people to HOPES, find out why they have come, and connect them to the right person. They oversee the reception area and assist people who come in to use a phone, make a copy, send a fax, use a computer, pick up mail, meet a staff member, have some coffee, or just sit and relax or talk. They are a critical part of HOPES’ office team.
Unfortunately, when one of our regular receptionists is unavailable, we sometimes have to close the reception to visitors. SUBSTITUTE RECEPTION VOLUNTEERS help fill this gap and keep HOPES Center’s doors open. Substitute receptionists are on a call list if there is a need at reception.
Substitute Receptionists serve for 3 hours (generally from 8 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Training and orientation is provided.
